September 9th 1994 marked the beginning of a new chapter in the district of krishnagiri, an everwhile dormant and agrarian environment. The Government College of Engineering came in to existence on this day,ushered a tempo of zeal and triggered the educational scenario of the place. Being the youngest of all Government engineering institutions, it is cradled in the salubrious weather of this pristine surrounding. Here the mother board teaches each of its nestings to soar fearlessly by aiming for the horizon with the motto of Growth and Commitment towards Excellence. The GCEBians exhibits a strong never say die spirit with the high degree of alacrity. The students are high-Brow, dexterous with a rich blend of creativity and innovation. The college has been approved by the AICTE and the college intake is purely based on TNPCEE.
