Alumni Association: BECOSA
The Alumni of GCE Bargur are proving themselves in topnotch corporations and this association equips our students by letting them know the career opportunities and industrial needs. Alumni Association paves a way for our students to tread upon.
Tamil Mandram : Kalaicharal
Kalaicharal is a program from Tamil mandram; The fabulous yearly feast for the students, Tamil mandram - acts as a source to bring into limelight the hidden talents of the emerging engineers by conducting speech competitions, poem competitions, singing and dancing. Thus the kalaicharal exhilarates the students and paves way for the students to expose themselves in extra-curricular activities.
English Literary Association
This association cares for many students to improve English. Every year BEC (british English certificate) courses and examinations designed by the university of Cambridge are conducted by the head of this group. This association takes many to improve the communication skills by conducting classes. The ELA zealously engages in activities that guide students to spark to speak good and fluent English.

Student belonging to NSS units are actively participating in various activities like
Campus cleaning works
One week AIDS awareness programme
Thereby creating awareness among the public regarding the importance of prevention of AIDS. This is done by conducting seminars, taking out a rally, making drama and through video source.
A 10-15 days camp in the nearby village is conducted to inculcate the habit of social service among the developing engineers. The rural environment gets educated through the dramas, adult education, free counselling by the professionals of various fields.
Youth Red Cross
Yoga classes, Seminors on AIDS, donation of blood are organised for the students. It also,involves in donation blood for the public whenever such contingency arises. YRC is conducing youth peer education programme which is sponsered by IRCS, new delhi from sep 2004 to 2008. A representative and ten students each from in and around institutions can participate in the programme and they shall propagate the message to the peers.
